Please be aware that this is a very old building, so there is some inevitable noise that travels up to the bedrooms. We have made special physical alterations to mitigate this and we do our best to make sure that this is reasonable (where we can), particularly early morning and late at night, but there may be some more noise than in, say, a purpose-built modern hotel.
We recommend that you keep your bedroom locked when vacant. You are responsible for your possessions during your stay.
Smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere inside the building under any circumstance. We have a no tolerance policy, and should you smoke anywhere in the building you will be charged a £100 cleaning fee. We have specialist smoke detectors in all the rooms which will alert if smoking is taking place. Provision for guest smoking is on the decking at the front of the property. Please make sure cigarettes or cigars are extinguished properly.
